Project Engineering functions for Amenam Oily Water Treatment Upgrade Project
2008 - 2010Responsible for driving the project engineering function and site interface management for the Shell Nigeria Soku Condensate Spiking (EPC) Project - CAPEX in excess of US$34 Million.
Prepared and presented technical procedures for piping and structural related construction works.
Estimated technical requirements for equipment and materials for construction prior to mobilization.
Scoped sub-contractor work and presenting to Project Manager for review and approval.
Reviewed sub-contractor volume of work done (VOWD) and issuing milestone completion certificates.
Reviewed sub-contractor technical and financial competence and submitting ranking to Project Manager.
Interfaced with Construction Manager and other Saipem Discipline Engineers on project matters.
Reviewed technical basis for engineering design change and issuing change request for client’s approval.
Reviewed test packs to ensure completeness during pre-commissioning.
Reviewed work packs and cost-time-resource estimates prior to loading in Primavera P3.
Reviewed of as-built documentation and modification drawings due to need for engineering change.
Promoted and ensured zero LTI during condensate handling and transfer and during tie-in operations.
Successfully managed a multi-discipline team (of peak 205 personnel) and achieving over 270,000 man-hours without LTI.
